Mail Your MP our Factsheet & Letter

Will you help us onboard your MP to basic income? Follow the steps below to print a factsheet and letter you can mail to their office postage-free. By sending them direct mail, you can make a tangible impression.

Step 1: Print Factsheet & Letter

A) Download Factsheet:

2-page colour PDF

B) Download Letter:

Editable Word document to add your MP's name and your personal info (look for yellow highlights at top and bottom). Personal stories are powerful, so we encourage you to customize it with your own message.

If you're unsure who your MP is, look them up here.

Step 2: Mail your MP

Put them in an envelope and mail it to your MP at this address:

[Name of Member of Parliament]
House of Commons
Ottawa, Ontario
Canada K1A 0A6

Mail sent to your MP’s Parliamentary Office in Ottawa is postage-free. Remember to include your name and return address so they know it’s from a constituent.

Step 3: Notify us

We like to track our campaigns, but this one's a bit harder. If you've mailed your MP, please email us and include your riding:
campaigns@ubiworks.ca

Optional: Drop it off at your local MP office

You may also choose to go in-person to your MP’s office and personally hand the letter and factsheet to their office or drop it into their mailbox. We also encourage you to ask for a meeting with your representative to speak with them about basic income and walk them through the factsheet.
